Taiwan Trip 2012 Feb 7 ~ Day 4 (Part 1)
We wake up
early the next day at 4:30am to catch the Alishan train at 5:30am as informed by the hostel owner. The train
is taking tourist up to Alishan mountain to see the sunrise at 6:00am ish.
But the hostel display timings are as below photos. Confused. I guess it goes with the change of seasons. We had a simple breakfast - pork/vegi bun and a bottle of milk from the stall down the hill before the train arrive.
We waited anxiously and almost see the sun peeping out from the clouds but in a second the sky was cloudy and had a little rain. Again another dissapointment not being able to see the fascinating scenery and the sea of clouds :-(. We hang around at the viewing point for a while and took photos.
Despite that we missed the train at the sunrise viewing point, we continued our steps at the following scenic points.
Drizzling rain start to drop.....
Drizzling rain start to drop.....
Sister pond - nothing special
Elephant Trunk Tree - this is amazing
Three-generation Tree. 1st and 2nd generation are dead.
The 3rd generation is still alive and growth up to the top
The look match with the name right :)
Forever One Heart Tree.
Look how funny we are, wearing the disposable raincoat taking photos.
Wet morning!!
There are a few stations to board the train.
We continued walking, talking, shooting and reaching the points.
Look, the deep peace of the tall and thick trees and the morning freshness are entrancing
We thought it is a temple
