The Manhattan Fish Restaurant

If you like fish, then you won’t be disappointed when you visit the MANHATTAN FISH MARKET. Two seconds for you to guess, is it means a morning wet market or night market selling fish? Is it a city monopolizing fish market? No it’s a RESTAURANT specializes in American styled-seafood. : P

You won’t have trouble finding this restaurant, not only the metropolis of KL. I had recently been to the one situated in QUEENSBAY MALL when I visited my brother in Penang, Malaysia.

During that day, it was a long queue while waited for a seating place. However my first gastronomic adventure of sampling an American styled-seafood in this restaurant was nonetheless an enjoyable one. The restaurant’s warm ambience and bright colours somewhat reminiscent of a fast food outlet, certainty adds to one’s appetite for a hearty meal.

There are plenty to offer from the menu of MANHATTAN FISH MARKET but The MANHATTAN FISH & CHIPS is a must-try. It tastes good, so does the chips – crispyyy and the fish meat is fresh. This would be my all time favorites. Very often people commented that it takes skill to cook fish to maintain the crispy outer layer and the fish, juicy flesh inside; Hats off to the chef at the Manhattan Fish Market Restaurant.

Although I have not tried myself but have been told that their platters are good. Ultimately, I am sure a seafood extravaganza would not be completed without a good serving of crabs too.

Well, this time I am not stating any food prices in my review simply because I can’t remember how much it cost, simply because it was a treat given by my brother! : P

Good Food....Good Compliment

Some of my colleagues have been talking about this "Staff Buffet" during these days. Finally today is the day for everyone to get together and enjoyed good food. "Ah...again food from "GROUP BASE" some noise was grumbling at the back of queue. Human will never satisfy with what they have or appreciate what they have been offered. There's terrible isn't it?? But somehow there are people may just keep quiet even they have much to say. Never tell never know. But guess these are the nature of human being!

Right after 3pm, everyone was heading to the grand hall to be seated before started attacking the food. Amazingly the grand hall used to be very dull but was filled with nice backdrop and shining trees on the stage. I kept looking at the wordings which my boss name appeared on the screen. Yeh, of course it is not just a eating party but to say goodbye to the big Bosses.

Party, eating, good food, music and surely there were speeches from the Bosses. While I was thoroughly enjoyed myself with the food, my name has been mentioned by my boss. A very good compliment from him eeeehhhh....really happy. All about how good, how supportive, conscientious I am. Compliments always make people happy ya....despite I am not that as good as he said (try to humble myself kekekkk...).

马六甲一日游

月前马六甲一日游的照片， 今天总算可以整理一下咯。去游玩是我最享受和最快乐的事了，而且也可以轻松一下心情。嘻嘻！

马六甲这富有历史性的地方还不错，道地的小食很美味。当天除了走走看看，也享用了出名的鸡饭粒、客家美食－算盘子、峇峇娘惹菜肴、cendol和satay celup等。

可惜的是没有到夜晚的Jonker Street逛逛，去的时候是炎热的白天。下次一定要住几天，去看看霓红灯光下的Jonker Street。

一天里又吃又喝的，怎么瘦下来嘛。。。哈哈！

美味＂吉灵面＂

前阵子回乡扫墓，趁机去了以前住家 Jln Sg. Nibong附近的面档吃＂吉灵面＂。在这里特别介绍一下这很美味的面。福建话是＂Kek-Leng Meen＂。它与＂Mi Rebus＂很相似不过相比之下，＂吉灵面＂好吃多了。
这面档已有十几年了。虽然很久没回家乡，卖面的安娣还认得我哩。安娣如往常一般面带笑容，但苍老了许多。

很喜欢＂吉灵面＂的面汁，它是用番茄和马铃薯煮成的。面汁带有甜、酸和香的味道。其他的配料有新鲜的豆芽、豆腐、马铃薯切片、鸡蛋和香脆的炸虾饼。
如你有到霹雳安顺走走，得尝尝这美味的＂吉灵面＂哦。

OCTOPUS Sushi House

元宵节时与表姐阿丽见面。虽然我俩都生活在K城但久久才见面。每次见面都互相诉说彼此的近况和身边发生的事情。

阿丽表姐住在安邦，这次见面顺便到Ampang Point 血拼。你相信吗。。在那儿我竟然可以买到仅仅RM９的吊带小背心，而且布质还不错哦，真开心。

过后我们在OCTOPUS Sushi House 吃晚餐。这是表姐强力推荐的另一间Sushi Bar。本小姐还是第一次到这间寿司店。除了出名的章鱼寿司，有的是多种类的日本套餐和汤粉。可是我没点出名的章鱼寿司因为我不喜欢章鱼的味道。表姐叫了一份日本套餐－Saba Shiyaki Set。因好久没吃东炎粉了，所以呢还是忍不住叫了一碗海鲜东炎汤粉。虽然之前有胃风，也不管了！它的海鲜东炎粉真的很美味。酸、甜和辣的味道全都有。哈！这一餐表姐又捷足先登请了我。

除了人人皆知的SUSHI KING，我觉得OCTOPUS Sushi Bar也不逊色于它喔！

最近与朋友常去这间餐厅。 它很靠近我的公司，在Mont Kiara, 只须十分钟驾驶就到了。我个人蛮喜欢这地方，尤其是夜晚的情景，满不错的。朋友觉得它带有点法国餐厅的味道。记得有一次与朋友吃晚餐，刚好是傍晚时分，凉风阵阵吹来。听到树叶飘落的沙沙声，感觉很悠闲自在。

这里唯一令我不满的是餐厅里面的空间不大，相当狭窄。皆因有个角落是让小孩玩乐的地方。店的老板也想得周到，有这样的设备父母们也可安心用餐咯。很可惜没拍到照片。 我比较喜欢在餐厅外享用晚餐有不同的感觉，清凉和悠闲。

餐厅的食物是西式的，食料多是蔬菜和水果，很健康。有的是各种沙律，糕点，Spagetthi, Lasagna, Quiche, Chicken Stew. 哦，虽然食物不错可是价钱是贵了点。不过它的分量很多。 与朋友们都可以 share一碟。

蔬菜很新鲜而且里面加了豆类，味道香和清淡。

很香的芝士味，以马铃薯和罗卜为馅。

欢送聚会

周五与同事们去吃韩式火锅。同事要离开了，另谋高就咯。这间店在one-utama Shopping Mall。店的装潢中等可是顾客门庭若市。一群走了接着另一群的来。

我们叫了份家人套餐，有肉，虾，鱼肉，鸡肉和蔬菜。蔬菜和肉类都很新鲜哩。还有蒜米饭是特送的。味道不错喔！最棒的是用来点食物的酱，一流。这一餐价钱便宜，家庭套只售价RM39.00。

这锅放汤的空间太小了，中间是用来烧烤的。

顺便也叫了份Shrimp Salad。很好吃！

前功尽弃

自己都有所怀疑可以捱到一星期三次的有机沙律晚餐！第一星期总算成功了。看着镜子，发觉身体没那么的肥肿。嗯，有点满足感。

但到了周末，出外逛时，又抵不过美味的食物。一星期的用功全都白费啰。

周六到加央见一位朋友。过后我们去了当地的'Sky Garden'斋馆。为了她的盛情，吃了一顿斋菜的午餐。我们点了凉拌豆腐，＇四大天王＇－矮瓜炒辣椒，还有海鲜春卷。这道菜－四大天王还真的是辣，搞得我喝了很多水呢。首次到这家菜馆，觉得所煮的菜肴味道还不错。

周日又与家人在附近Jaya Jusco的Old Town Kopitiam享用闻名的白咖啡和nasi lemak。

所以呢。。如何廋身嘛。
搞不好，是增肥！:D

有机沙律

这是我的晚餐。今晚来个特别的健康餐。

有机沙律，有的是各类水果蔬菜，豆类如腰果，核桃，南瓜子，葡萄干。然后调配些有机三宝粉和核桃芝麻粉再加少许的橄榄油。
听起来好像很麻烦哦，其实不会啦。只要买好食料，洗切一下，半个钟就可以搞掂咯。

光看卖相不是很美味，但是味道还不错哦！
很奇妙，吃完整碟，不是很饱但又不会想吃其它食品。感觉真好哩！
酷爱美食的我， 有时候真的是难以抗拒美味食物。
说真的这还是我第一次吃健康餐，不过感觉蛮新鲜的。

唉，我决定了一星期吃三次健康餐。
可瘦身又吃得健康。
可以支撑多久啊???

想念真实的味道

今天终于光顾了同事介绍的Kepong茶餐室的意大利粉。它只是一间和其他茶餐室没什么两样的餐厅，可是客似云来，整个餐厅都爆满了人。

与同事们点了一个原味意大利粉加胡椒鸡扒还有我爱吃的番茄和青瓜。开始觉得味道还不错，但渐渐就觉得好像少了点什么，却又说不上来。

直到离开的时候，我才发觉这顿意大利粉少了什么－是一般意大利餐厅的那种味道。那种周围照耀着柔和的灯光，播放着美妙的音乐，与情人享受着一顿浪漫蒂克的晚餐的味道。这里却有点紊乱。吵闹声在喧哗着。

今天所吃的意大利粉只是售价RM6.50。所以呢这就足以抵销以上我所说的味道咯。 :)
